Synthesis of d,l-α-Tocopherol Catalyzed by Heteropoly Acids
摘要:
d,l-α-lbcopherol(vitamin E) is found to be synthesized by condensing trimcthylhydroquinone with isophytol catalyzed by heteropoly acids(HPA) H2PW12O40 and H2PMo12O40 at room temperature. These HPA are efficient catalysts for the synthesis of d,l-α-Tocophcrol and can easily be separated from the reaction mixture and reused.
