SYNTHESIS,CRYSTAL STRUCTURE AND PROPERTIES OF TETRAETHYLAMMONIUM BIS [BIS(2-OXYPHENYL) DISULFIDE-O,O',S] MANGANESE

The synthesis,crystal structure and properties of the first Mn(Ⅲ)-disulfide complex (Et₄N) [Mn(mp-mp)₂] were reported with the Mn(Ⅲ) ion in a S₂O₄ octahedron distorted due to Jahn-Teller effect.Spectroscopic data revealed its paramagnetic properties.
