A LOW-PRESSURE AND ONE-STEP METHOD FOR THE SYNTHESIS OF ALKYLIDYNETRICOBALT NONACARBONYL CLUSTERS:RCCo₈（CO）₉

Metal clusters RCCo_a（CO）₉（R-H,C1,Br,CH_a,Ph） were preparedin 18.8-57.3% yields from the reaction of cobalt(Ⅱ)salt and RCX_a under mild PTC conditions(latm CO,25℃).The cobalt salt was reducedto Co（CO）₄ in the presence of Na_aS₂O₄.
