Solid-state cyclic voltammetry was used to study electrochemical behavior of ferroin, which indicates that ferroin performs a reversible redox process in the improved PEO-LiClO4 complex.An activation energy of ca.6.0 Kcal/mol for ferroin diffusion was evaluated from temperature dependence of diffusion coefficient.
