Coordination Structure of Aluminum in Magnesium Aluminum Hydroxide Studied by 27Al NMR

摘要: The coordination structure of aluminum in magnesium aluminum hydroxide was studiedby 27Al NMR. The result showed that tetrahedral aluminum (Al) existed in magnesiumaluminum hydroxide, and the contents of Al increased with the increase of the ratio of Al/Mg andwith the peptizing temperature. Al originated from the so-called Al13 polymer with the structureof one Al tetrahedron surrounded by twelve Al octahedrons.
